For some tipsy fun, look no further than these luxurious home bars. Meeting girlfriends at a swanky wine bar, watching the game at a sports pub, or stopping by the local watering hole after work are all foreign ideas for the enviable habitants of these not-so-humble abodes. Jealousy aside, we are more than impressed with these home bars. While most of us probably won’t splurge on a Trump-worthy swim-up bar any time soon, the photos below give us inspiration about how to bring some extravagant elements into our own homes, and one of my favorite places in it…the bar cart.
This Newport Beach, CA home has a bar we’d swim up to any day!In 2010, in Architectural Digest, Jennifer Aniston’s designer Stephen Shadley, was quoted saying, “When we were designing Jen’s bar, I was told ‘The blender should be in a cabinet that can be closed while it operates…I thought it was an odd request, but now I realize how annoying that sound can be during a party.This exotic home bar caught our eye with it’s exceptional stone work.While the original article wrote including this bar was on tie work, we were especially impressed with the unique use of space in the staircase.This New Cannan, CT home bar (which happens to e on the market,) has us craving a glass of red, a cozy fire and Van Morrison.
